Starting out

I am a freelance translator starting out with some years of varied experience behind me. My goal is to become a patent translator however, I have some work to do before I venture into that hallowed domain.

I am also learning how to manage my business in Japan (in Japanese of course) and this holds its own challenges.

This blog is intended really for me to document my progress so that I may see how far I have come and how much further I have to go in the direction I have chosen.

You may read it, you may cry, you may scorn but I shall continue to endevour.
